So hi all! I apologize for my short absence here on my blog. For those that do not know I have recently moved from my home of 15 years in SWFL to Panama City Beach in NWFL. It has been a big change and took me a little bit to get back in the grove but I’m back on track and ready to have some scrapbooking fun!
So this month for the Damask Divas blog hop we are featuring the paper pack Pro Player. This was a fun pack to create with since I have been a gamer since back in the day of the original Nintendo. :) Here is a 8x8 layout I came up with. I hope you enjoy it.
The supplies I used:
Tan, metallic blue, and lined cardstock
CTMH brad hinges (retired)
Silver mini brads and blue square brads
Brad tab and red small brad
Sizzlet’s notebook font dies
Quickutz game controller dies
First I cut the photo mats for the entire layout. Then I moved on to creating page 2. I started working on the photo mat with the hidden journaling underneath. I figured out where I wanted it on the page and then attached the brad hinge to the photo mat first and then to the page. I then added the brad details and the game controller die cut to the page. I decided to use the silver mini brads as the buttons on the controller to add more dimension. Then I inked the page. For the font on page one - I cut them out with the sidekick, ripped parts of the Pro Player paper, attached the paper to the letters and cut off the excess ripped paper. I really like how it ended up coming out. I hope you have enjoyed checking out my layout.
*** I believe that the game controller die might be retired (I got it many years ago). If you feel you really need one of those for your layout just message me and let me know. I will cut you a couple and drop them in the mail to you. :)
The next blog on the list is Cyndey Fowler's.
Hope you have a great time on our hop and checking out all the creations using Pro Player. If you get lost, just hop on over to Damask Divas Blog for the complete list.
XOXO Happy crafting!
